Did we mention that this convention season is KAMUI colored?
We have two give-aways for KAMUI.
One is a temporary tattoo of Kojomaru’s mark on Atsuma’s neck.
Designer Chris & editor Dee put them on today.
They want to cosplay as Atsuma, I guess.
President Kaname, being a former cosplayer and all (oh, is that a secret?), was looking at the tattoos w/ envy. I think he wanted to put one on too.
Our initial plan was to only put the tattoo on girls/women & bishounen.
So we’d have a sign at our booth saying “girls and bishounen only!”
And guys can come up if they feel like they qualify under the bishounen category.
But sales manager Ardith thought it would be sad for the non-bishounen guys.
Like if a guy wasn’t confident enough to think himself as a bishounen.
Or not-so-bishounen guy who wants to get a tattoo.
Either way, it’d be sad, she says.
So we won’t discriminate anymore.
Ugly guys can come and get the tattoo too.
(We didn’t say ugly! shouts the Broccoli employees)
Anyway, the tattoo is lovely.
Please stop by the Broccoli booth at Anime Expo, San Diego Comic Con or Otakon.
But if you want to get it earlier… maybe I’ll give away some on the next Broccoli Books Fan Club mailer.
Remember, you can join from this page.
Oh, what about the other give-away?
It’s a postcard sized sticker of KAMUI.
And we’ll have more KAMUI banners at the Broccoli booth too.
Atsuma isn’t the only pretty boy in KAMUI.
It’s time to give other characters some spotlight time!
