Layout staffer Brian turned in the first draft of the Disgaea manga.
Editor Dee went over the manga & production assistant Krystal just finished the 2nd draft.
So we sent the current draft to NIS America so that their staff can review the script to make sure that the characters sound the same as the video game.
Of course, Disgaea is one of our favorite games among the Broccoli Books staff.

So we’re pretty familiar w/ how the characters should talk. But it’s better to go with the source!
Oh, we also received the translations for the Disgaea illustration book.
There’s a lot of text in the book, so we had three translators work on the project.
Anyway, Disgaea illustration book is next on editor Dee’s task list.
I’ve been doing some Disgaea work too.
I’m working w/ Broccoli Japan to make the Disgaea Prinny fleece cap.
We were shooting for an Anime Expo release, but the schedule was too tight.
So we’re trying to get them ready for Otakon.
And I’ve also been helping NIS America on a cool Disgaea promo for Anime Expo. I can’t say anything yet, but maybe I’ll leak some information on the pre-Anime Expo Broccoli Books Fan Club mailer.
