I think it’s really funny, actually.
Maybe people don’t get that it’s poking fun at shonen manga and fan service?

There’s nothing wrong with being ecchi. I really liked the first volume of Devil Princess. I liked the ecchi moments and I also thought that the first volume was funny.

when does volume 10 come out?

Seconding the question of when KAMUI volume 10 will be out. Up until just the other day, it was featured prominently on the Broccoli Books front page with “Summer 2008″, but the release list has it under February 2008. Both of these are obviously incorrect, but there is no other accurate information available.
Will there be some news of it soon? Is it even still in the works?
