Hi, blogger Shiz dying in the trenches here.
I’ve been working from home for the last three weeks.
One of the reasons for working at home is the surgery I had in the beginning of the month… and I’ve been working non-stop on getting COSMODE USA ready.
It’s been weeks of gathering materials, contacting US cosplayers & photographers, translating, looking up the spellings of character names & series titles, assigning work to layout staff, re-working the pagination sheet…
I’ve recruited help from all over, and a ton of people have been helpful. But there’s still a lot of work.
So tonight is the crunch time.
Designer Chris, freelance editor Dee, copy editor Cee and I took over most of the office desk space & floor space w/ cut up copies of the Japanese COSMODE magazine and print outs of the English script & layout.
Here are the lovely staff who worked all night long.
It’s currently 2:30am & we’re still going. If we’re lucky, we’ll go home before 4am.
PS. Retail operations manager Dennis even helped out until 2am. I have to add him to the credits page.

orz That’s a lot of work! Good luck on it. Please be sure to get some rest eventually too… heh.
