Wished I had something to say for all this. I’ve seen it all before, and it’s nothing new. If only I bothered operating my own publishing firm, I would’ve done something about it right now.

So I’m assuming that Kamui will be unfinished as well? Understandable. Two volumes left to the series. And there’s of course E’s with 15 volumes in Japan and we’re only at vol. 04 in the US. Then again, this isn’t the only series from this company I’ve only gotten half of it from because it was dropped. (Tenshi ni Narumon aka I’m Gonna Be An Angel)

While I haven’t picked up many volumes from Broccoli, the ones I have I did enjoy rather much. Good luck to all those at the work place. Hopefully you can find jobs again in this down economy.

I guess I’ll try to find Kamui eventually, since I doubt any one else will pick it up so close to the ending. Of course, with Square-Enix being the publisher, maybe Yen Press will get these two series. Since they seem to be publishing quite a few Square-Enix titles.

And to those arguing about “Oh, it’s only a volume left to publish…” Well, having worked at an anime store that did shut down, once the decision is made, they’re more interested in shutting down and getting rid of stock than incurring more costs and more stock to get rid of. And by that point, the money just isn’t there to do much else.

Yeah… here’s to hoping that somebody finishes all those DGC series ;_; (*cough* hope it’s not TokyoPop *cough*)

Ultimately, I’m wishing for the health and safety of all the workers of Broccoli of America. I hope you all find new places to work with speed and ease.
