And some more prizes sent to Broccoli Books fan club members.
Sorry, I forgot to take photos this time b/c I was in a rush to get them all out.
* * * *
Ted from IL won an autographed shikishi board from Asami Sanada (voice of Dejiko).
* * *
Jessica from IN won a KAMUI vinyl banner featuring Sumire.

Several of the winners emailed photos of their prizes & goodies to us.
I’m glad you guys are enjoying them ^__^
Unfortunately, we had to clear out of our office by December 31, so we had to toss everything else out. I do have a few more boxes that are going out to winners & libraries, but that’s all I can do. I only got to #40 on the comments, and I’m sorry we didn’t have the time to get back to the rest of you.
Thank you for all the comments.
I’ll write one final blog entry for the last bit of shipments & that will be the last post here.
For those who are interested, I started a new blog over at AnimeVice.com. I’ll continue writing there as long as I’m freelancing.

Last post coming up ._. Scary thought…
Do you mind if I add your AnimeVice blog to my blogs blogroll?
Also, Are the only recipients on these three posts you have made? I did send you my details but if it was limited further, doesn’t matter. Of course, maybe it is just the slow postal service during the Christmas break that is getting me a bit restless xD Going out book shopping tomorrow (Well, today if this were posted half an hour in the future). Hoping for the best xD.

Actually everyone who made comments #1 - 40 got an email from me, and should be receiving some sort of package. I’m only listing those who got special items.
I think I didn’t pack yours yet b/c it takes time to fill out the customs forms for overseas shipments.
As for adding the AnimeVice.com blog to your blogroll, please feel free to do so. I wouldn’t be blogging if I wanted to keep my views private *laugh*

Glad you liked the stuff!

Thanks ^__^
I’ll be sticking around somewhere in the industry. Just don’t know where yet. Too bad I can’t take the titles from Broccoli Books w/ me wherever I go.

I don’t know what hurts the most.
1. That Broccoli Books shall be no more.
2. That I didn’t know this for certain until this very day.
3. That I shall never be able to get my promotional Pyocola figurine by mailing in the required items from the two DVDs.
Suffice to say that a lack of Di Gi Charat is going to be unbearable.

I loved the package you sent me - SO FULL OF AWESOME STUFFS. Piyoko and J.O.! I can’t help but brag to my friends - and this from a grown woman! HA! So much love, I am even sadder now to see you go. Please, take care in 2009 and thank you again. ^__^

I just received my care package from brocolli and seeing it really made me feel sad about the entire ordeal. Although I am ecstatic about my package I really will miss broccoli books. It is just a reminder of how big a role Broccoli USA played in both the anime and manga industry. To say the industry has lost one it’s best is truly an understatement. Devil Princess, Murder Princess, Galaxy Angel, FLCL, Di Gi Charat all released due to efforts of you and your fellows. I really hope a great sense of pride was taken away from this adventure because you folks really did make a difference and created fantastic quality products that stood several heads above many other publishers. Take care and all the best to you Shizuki and all your fellows that were at Broccoli USA in your future venues.

Checking my mail up to three times a day :P (I think I may be a little bit crazy XD)
Anyway, I agree with Steve, it is sad to see Broccoli Books go :(

This took me a bit to get back, but I do want to say a big thank you for my package! Lots of great stuff in there, including the vinyl banner. :)
I still can’t believe I won’t be getting any more great series from you guys– I’m really anxious to find out what happens next in KAMUI and keep scouring the net (in English) for any info I can find– not that it’s much. Maybe I’m not looking for the right things, though, heh.
But, again, thank you so much for all the hard work and the great stories!
