Designer Chris noticed a thread on AnimeOnDVD forums about Broccoli Books Title X.
He’s happy because he thinks we tend to be forgotten (sometimes).
He needs a little bit of love.
Someone, please give designer Chris some love.
Anyway, we forgot to mention another title we’re working on.
We will call this Title Z.
Why not Title Y?
Because the working title is “zipper.”
No, not really… but kinda.
Title Z is already signed, but we need a bit of time for the official announcement. Probably will mention it at Fanime, along w/ Title X.
So translator S@ki is working on the translation for Title Z right now.
We gave her a short deadline this time, because we’re on a tighter schedule.
Too bad Title X and Title Z are single volume books.
I wish we had multiple volume titles so we don’t have to worry about constantly licensing new titles. Plus they look nicer on the book store shelves, when there are 10 volumes lined up together with beautiful spine art.
Anyway, Title X might continue in a way.
Well, we do have one related book licensed (can’t mention that one yet either).
So shall we call that one Title XX?
How confusing!

There’s a new title we’ve been working on.
In fact, we’ve been working on it for several months now… but we couldn’t really talk about it because there’s been lots of issues with licensing.
Anyway, everything is being finalized right now (so we think), so we can at least start talking about Title X.
Translator S@ki worked on the translations, so we sent the script to re-writer Jason. Of course he needed to do some prep-work before he worked on the re-write.
What’s the prep work?
Oh, we can’t tell you that!
Or it’d be too obvious!
Anyway, re-writer Jason turned in the revised script.
Meanwhile, we sent the manga materials to layout staffer Brian.
Of course layout staffer Brian also needed to do some prep work, but he already had some head start.
More news to come!

Until the Full Moon vol 2 will be shipping to our distributor on March 1.
And we will be sending out a press release on March 1 to announce our new title.
Translation for volume 1 is already completed, and the production team (editor Dee, designer Chris & moi) went over the style sheet today.
We create style sheets to determine how names are spelled, how the characters should talk, etc. It’s up to the copy editor to make sure that everyone follows the style sheets.

We mentioned that Until the Full Moon vol 2 was being delayed for a few weeks.
It’s because we were hoping to place an ad for a new title we are releasing in 2005.
But getting the license agreement hacked out took a bit longer than we thought… but we finally got the go-ahead to put the ad in.
So when Until the Full Moon vol 2 comes out in early March, you can all see the new & exciting title that’s coming next from Broccoli Books.
More info will be posted online at BroccoliBooks.com soon, so check it often!
