Here are the winners of the Murder Princess “vol 1 for my friend & vol 2 for me” give-away!

Eric from California:
Well a while ago I was running through the forest and fell off of a cliff. My friend happen to be standing at the base of the cliff and when I landed I hit him on the head. Ever since that day I’ve been trapped in his body and he has been stuck in mine! And it has been getting really annoying explaining to everyone why our personalities seem different now. (Start obvious butt kissing) It would be oh so much easier if we could just show them a copy of Murder Princess and say “Well read this amazing manga of obviously superior quality over all others from Broccoli Books and you will understand our plight!” And then once they understand our plight we can get them to go buy their own copies because legend has it that if we get enough people to go out and buy copies of murder princess we will be returned to our original bodies. (End obvious butt kissing).

Walter from California:
My friend J’s life is being absorbed by his new girlfriend. She’s very non violent (won’t even kill ants) and vegan. He needs to balance this aspect of his life with some traditional manga. He needs some kick ass action. She doesn’t even like loud noises. I think that Murder Princess will provide a balance for him and bring him back into a natural state.

Cindy from California:
My friend needs a free copy of Murder Princess Volume 1 in order to get her hooked onto the series. She loves manga and collects quite a bit of it. Winning a free manga would surely make her day.

Nami from Florida:
As a senior in high school, I make friends in every new year, this one in particular, seems hopeless in the anime/manga genre. Upon entering a new school she hardly knows anyone, and I’m attempting to converge her into my anime club. She’s very picky, but she is curious about different cultures. As normal teenage anything, she watches adult swim and doesn’t very well like what they show there (the anime I mean). Because of that, she thinks all anime and manga is the same. So, I’m attempting to break her of this chain of thought. So far I’ve given her Di Gi Charat and Host Club, and she’s become mildly intrested. Hopefully, the First volume of Murder Princess can open up her eyes to the wonderful world of anime and manga. Please Help my friend C, For She Desperately Needs it.

An from Unknown Location (at time of posting):
My friend and I really love manga. But because we love manga TOO much that is why she spends all of her money for buying manga and anime. And now she is so poor, she has to ask for her parents’ money. But her parents are really strict, they don’t want her to spend all the money they gave her to buy manga. That is why she can no longer buy any new manga, an when
she saw the review of Murder Princess, she really want to buy it
, but I am also really poor, I barely buy manga. I only bought 10 manga for the past 3 years and I borrow a lot of manga from my friends and library. So please help my friend and me. We are just manga lovers who cannot read manga because we love them so much.

Underlined parts are the parts we liked about their entry.
Yes, we are fond of butt kissers.
And a good sense of humor.

Enjoy your books, guys & gals!

We got a call from Wall Street Journal requesting for a cover image of Murder Princess.
At the time I had thought it was a feature on manga & anime culture/trend in the US.

But after freelancer Dee contacted me about the Broccoli stock prices going up almost 70% in Japan, I realized that’s what the Wall Street Journal is about. (President Kaname had mentioned the stock thingie earlier today, but I didn’t figure it out til I talked to freelancer Dee)

So please pick up tomorrow’s copy of the Wall Street Journal.
And you’ll see an image of Murder Princess.

If I had known about the article… I would have sent over Di Gi Charat.
But they did ask about Murder Princess.

I guess I should let Inui-sensei know about it. And send him a copy.

We’ve been wrapping up Murder Princess vol 2 before Anime Expo… since we’ll be submitting it to print right before Otakon… but things never go as smoothly as planned.

So we’re still working on wrapping up Murder Princess vol 2.

But we’re almost done.
Just a few more approvals, and we’ll be turning everything in next week.

Next on our plate is E’S vol 4.
