Senior Sales Associate - Description: Energetic staffer willing to communicate with distributors and wholesale customers, compile sales reports, and manage junior sales staff.
Must be proficient in English. Must have excellent writing skills (grammar & spelling). Must be organized, thorough and pay close attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word plus general office skills (fax machine, copier, etc.) are necessary. Knowledge of anime/manga products, Microsoft Outlook, and basic image editing (Adobe Photoshop, Acrobat) a plus.
Full-time position. Pay: Commensurate with experience.
Associate Editor - Description: Associate editorial staff of manga publishing division of Broccoli Int'l. Job duties include, but are not limited to:
GENERAL DUTIES
- Participate in weekly production meetings
- Writing synopses, press releases, etc.
- Oversees and plans creation of Broccoli Book books and related merchandise
- Coordinates with printers and wholesale department to release books on time
- Researches and proposes possible licenses to be obtained by Broccoli Books
- Creates and proposes content to be put into books as part of the DELUXE line
- Assists with communication with Japanese licensors and publishers
- Property management: Organizes and keeps a database for property images, spellings, and miscellaneous information
- Obtains approval for various image use for advertisements, flyers, goods, and other miscellaneous items
- Contacting Broccoli Japan to request materials or submit files for approval
- Maintenance of materials
- Placing orders for other printed materials (stickers, cards, books) from domestic and overseas vendors
- Updating wholesale department with production information including book information and release dates
- Contacting reviewers, magazines and web sites and providing them with materials regarding releases and current projects
- Attending conventions and trade shows as a representative of Broccoli's production department, including occasionally conducting panels

Wholesale Shipping Assistant - *Entry level position* Work in a casual & fun environment with flexible hours! Broccoli International is looking for an organized, enthusiastic person to join our wholesale department. Job duties include, but are not limited to:
- Pulling merchandise to be shipped
- Packing & shipping orders
- Receiving
- Re-packing/labeling incoming merchandise
- Organizing warehouse space
- Managing product data
- Maintaining inventory count in warehouse
- Organizing warehouse space
- Some filing & faxing
- Quality control
- Possible convention work
- Possible scanning and photographing merchandise for web site
Part-time position (12-20 hours per week). Must be able to lift 50-60 lbs. (though most packages will be only 20-30 lbs.). Shipping experience preferred (ebay ok). Vehicle to run errands a plus. Must be able to work during inventory count (June and December). Must be detail-oriented and organized.
Pay: $7.50 an hour starting.
General intern - Broccoli International is looking for an enthusiastic college student for general internship. This position is unpaid (except transportation stipend) and for college credit only. Get trained on general office tasks and learn skills needed to work in an office environment. This is a great opportunity to enter the anime/manga industry. Knowledge of Japanese a plus, but not necessary. No prior work experience necessary. Some computer knowledge needed (email, word processing). Must be able to commute to West Los Angeles. Minimum 10 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
Graphics intern - Broccoli International is looking for a graphic intern. This position is unpaid (except for transportation stipend) and for college credit only. Get experience on commercial print work, polish Photoshop & Illustrator skills, and basic training in InDesign for graphic novel layout work. This is a great opportunity to enter the anime/manga industry. Applicants should already have experience using Photoshop & Illustrator for personal projects (Mac or PC). Must be able to commute to West Los Angeles. Minimum 10 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

Freelance graphic artist - Broccoli International is looking for a freelance graphic artists for print work. Applicants must have prior experience in commercial print work. Must be able to follow deadlines, and pick up & drop off assignments from our Los Angeles office. Payment on per project base only. Please provide portfolio.
