We’ve been too swamped with deadlines to blog regularly.
Although this won’t make up for 2 weeks of silence, here’s a preview of the FLCL Ultimate Edition inserts.
First off is the set of 6 postcards, featuring the robots of each episode:
They’re bring printed right now, along w/ a sheet of FLCL stickers.
Tomorrow… either the new DVD menus of FLCL Ultimate Edition or the stickers.

I was wondering what was going on… I’m glad for any kind of update though. The postcards look amazing! I’m also looking forward to pics of the new menu. Although, what everyone is really wanting to see is the Ult Ed box art! I can only dream…

I’m curious to what the box art will look like as well, although I think it would be really, really difficult to top the box that was released with Vol.3. Even after so many years and so many boxes that one’s still one of my favourites (along with Geneon’s Texhnolyze and Kamichu! boxes.)

is this ult dvd set going to be in stores like target best buy, and amazon.com? or just going to be offered through sites like animegamers.com retail online site?

According to sales manager Ardith, Best Buy will be carrying FLCL Ultimate Edition. Best Buy will have an exclusive item inside. More info to be blogged soon!
FLCL Ultimate Edition will be sold on Amazon.com too.
Unfortunately, FLCL Ultimate Edition will not be in Target. We’re too small of a company to risk our lives like that!
And of course, FLCL Ultimate Edition will be sold at your local & online anime stores.

The t-shirt is included in every FLCL Ultimate Edition. Well, there will be a postcard with the t-shirt design printed on it… and you send in the postcard to say what t-shirt size you want.

yes but you said best buy is going to have a special item inside , any idea what its going to be? i hope i dont sound stupid, but it seems the flcl ult dvd will come with all the stuff you can preorder from any site just gotta send in that tshirt offer, any idea on what the special gift is when you order from anime gamers.com because this would be greatly helpful to determine which company has the better special offer to be honest because i dont feel like blowing 120ish dollars for 2 dvd sets from best buy and anime gamers.com etc
