We got approval on the design of the FLCL Ultimate Edition DVD Box set digi-pack sleeve.
Emphasis on sleeve.
It’s a cardboard slip case to hold the digi-pack, in case you want to keep the DVDs out of the box.
There seems to be a bit of confusion about the Ultimate Edition DVD Box set.
It’s probably because there aren’t images of the box… but there is a box.
It’s not just a digi-pack w/ extras.
I don’t know how we’d fit all the extras in a digi-pack.
Or unless it’s a really fat digi-pack that can hold a 60+ page booklet, 7 postcards, 1 sheet of sticker, and a silicone wristband.
Image of the sleeve?
It’s an alternate color version of the Canti image used on the outside of the digi-pack. (see Oct 4 blog entry for image). The original color is the one on the digi-pack. Blue Canti.
The sleeve will have a red Canti.

PS. We also got approval on disc art & THE box… so those images will be coming tomorrow.

ive got a question, i ordered the FLCL ult edition at cduniverse.com will that edition come with the black or red silicone bracelet?

That sounds awesome. The more flexibility you can afford the fans, the better, and giving us the sleeve so we can keep it outside of the box is very helpful. Also, the alternate image with red Canti sounds great. I’m looking forward to the picture!

Wait, then, has it changed? Will all boxes contain the bracelet? Or is it still certain retailers? I really want the black NNB bracelet…
