Hi blogger Shiz here.
Couple questions received via email & via comments.
I don’t have time to respond to each person, so if you get an email w/ a link to this page, here are your answers.
Q. I moved & have a different address from the one on the postcard. Is there a way to get the t-shirt redirected to my new address?
A. US Postal Service does not offer address re-direct. If you moved, please submit a “change of address” form to your local post office & they will forward your package to your new mailing address.
If the package gets returned to us, we will contact you via email to get your new address & re-send it to you.
Q. I am also curious what took so long?
A. We print t-shirts in batches of 1000 units. Sometimes we run out of your particular size (which happened for Large & Extra Large for those who bought the first print), sometimes we simply don’t have enough staff to send out packages (like during the convention season).
Q. When should I expect my t-shirt?
A. It really depends on when we receive your postcard & your t-shirt size. Once we get our next batch of t-shirts (coming in September), it looks like we’ll be able to catch up on almost all sizes except for Large & Extra-Large.
So if you requested Small & Medium, you will get your t-shirt by late September. If you requested Large & Extra-Large AND sent your postcard in before April 2008, you should also be getting your t-shirt by late September. If you sent in your postcard around May 2008 or later, you’ll be getting your t-shirt around October or November.
Q. I’m in Chicago and I want to purchase the ultimate DVD collection of FLCL, please, let me know where can I buy it.
A. Hm, I’ll have to check w/ our sales department to see which retailers still have the FLCL Ultimate Edition DVD in stock. I’ll update this post w/ more information, and/or I welcome retailers (and readers) with links to stores that still have them in stock.
Okay, that’s it for today.
Hope this answers any questions you may have.

To anyone who hasn’t got their shirt, you are only having your patience tested. I sent my postcard in and didn’t get the shirt for 8 months (maybe it was 6?).
I thought that my postcard was lost, or they discontinued the free shirts — I had one of the most enlightening feelings of my life when the package arrived.
so… Be patient <3 Thanks!

Well here’s a good question, what about those of us up here in Canada who sent in the postcards? Will we ever get our T-shirts?

Are the dvd’s still in print?
Because last time i tried to buy them, Amazon never was able to send me the one i placed an order on so eventually they canceled it on me. I was quite disheartened.
If they are in print then they really can’t be kept on store shelves. Also good to hear that tshirts are being honored still. if i find this somewhere then maybe i too can be part of the coolness they offer.
Hopes to find the box set somewhere soon,
Wast

Sorry for the late reply.
We’re getting to the Canadian addresses (it requires an extra step of filling out customs forms for each package), but we’ll get it out this month.

The Ultimate Editions are now out of print. We don’t plan on re-printing them anymore. Please see the newest entry for more information.

I already responded to your comment in a different topic, but your t-shirt was shipped out in August 2007.

Hello,
I purchased a FLCL Ultimate Ed. DVD Boxset back in late August,it got lost in the mail, and as of today,I have still not received it.
I reside in Ottawa Canada.
I do realize this is not Broccoli’s problem, but I am hoping someone can help me.
I bought it from Amazon.com
I would like to know if there are any for sale anywhere ? I would rather not pay 250 + USD for one on Ebay,if at all possible.
If not will there ever be a reprinting ? Given that copies are selling for hundreds of dollars on places like Ebay,it would seem the market is rife, and ready for a another printing from Broccoli.
