Producer Dee here, AKA editor Dee, taking over the blogging duties for a bit while blogmeister Shizuki is attending Tokyo Anime Fair.

It’s been a while since we last reported anything, but I have some excellent news right now. With the help of intern J, assistant K and accountant G (yes, we all go by special code names here), we’ve made a big push to get a lot of the FLCL Ultimate Edition t-shirts sent out. In fact, we sent out all of the t-shirts we printed initially, so we’re busy reprinting more to send out to the rest of you FLCL fans.

We’ll be emailing the people whose t-shirts were sent out over the course of next week. For those of you who are still waiting for your shirt, we appreciate your patience, and when the next batch of t-shirts comes in we’ll let you know right here in the blog.

I received final product samples of the FLCL baseball cap from Great Eastern.

Which reminded me to send the product samples to our licensors… so I opened the box of FLCL wallscroll samples.

Or what I thought were the FLCL wallscroll samples.
I think I got Geneon’s package by mistake.
No worries, it’s easy to fix!

Anyway, look for the FLCL baseball cap at your local anime store!

BTW, did you guys check out the Robot in Red t-shirt at Anime Expo?
It’s a hit with the Hot Topic folks, and they’re ordering a bunch to add them to all their stores.

So if you don’t get it at San Diego Comic Con… or Otakon… then go to your local Hot Topic store. Oh, your local anime shops will have them in stock too.

And those new FLCL wallscroll pre-production samples that have been sitting next to my desk for over a month. I finally got off my lazy bum and checked them against prints from the illustration book.

I sent out the approvals today, so they should be hitting the stores in September.

I like the layout of the Ninamori poster image, although I don’t know if she’s a popular enough character for many to pick up.

Oh, the Miyu-Miyu plush was also approved.
We’re still waiting approval on Haruko, Naota & Mamimi plush.
