 UART Partners with Broccoli International for North American Distribution and Promotion Los Angeles, CA (July 18, 2006) – UART, an emerging Hong Kong-based collectible figure company, announced its partnership with Broccoli International for North American distribution and promotion. Founded by Kiyotaka Hirai, former executive vice president of Yamato Hong Kong, UART was established in 2005 to develop figures with both the Japanese and overseas market in mind. UART plans the development, production and promotion schedule to decrease the release lag of collectible figures worldwide. UART has produced figures for titles such as To Heart 2, Zero-Shiki, BoBoBo-Bo Bo-BoBo, and Hellsing. The 2006 – 2007 line up includes figures for titles such as Trigun, Ikki Tousen, Bastard! and Tsukuyomi ~ Moon Phase, as well as high quality original figures by Japan’s most talented sculptors. |

Thank you everyone for a lovely Anime Expo. It was very busy, but hopefully either Melissa or I were able to drop by your booth during the convention. Our next big conventin is Comic-Con International in San Diego. We will be in booth # 2229, next to the Pokemon booth. Please remember that some preorder deadlines are coming up, so get in your orders! We'll be spending the next few days catching up with email and the like.
